Simpson Consulting is a DBA of Skylar Automation LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you visit simpsonconsultingco.com. This is a marketing website. It has no accounts, no logins, and nothing is sold through it.
What this website collects automatically
Two things:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It sets cookies and records the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, how you arrived, your device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and a randomly generated identifier that distinguishes your browser. That identifier is not your name and we make no attempt to connect it to you.
- Server logs. Our host, Vercel, processes standard web server request logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or Google Signals. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
The contact form
When you submit the inquiry form, the information you entered is sent to us: your name, your company, your work email address, the topic you selected, and your message. We use those details to reply to you and to keep a record of our correspondence, and we keep them for as long as that relationship requires.
The form is delivered by Formspree, a form processing service that passes submissions to us by email and stores a copy on its servers as part of providing that service. Formspree is the only third party that handles what you send through the form. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else.
How long analytics data is kept
Google Analytics retains the event data tied to cookies and identifiers for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregate reports that identify no one may be kept longer.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across every website you visit by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This site works normally with analytics blocked. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing the address below. Oregon residents have additional rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act.

Our site links to other websites, including a private client demo environment that requires credentials. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the revision on this page with a new effective date.
